Whole Day Planning Format

During the Summer term I am trying to do a "whole day planning" sheet for Thursdays and Fridays. I often find that planning a whole lesson on A4 is not helpful, as it is very time consuming and I end up not looking at it, as the lesson takes a slightly different route/pace due to children's knowledge and ideas. This format of planning is useful for TA's to see easily what they are doing over the day, and allows me to quickly scan and organise my thoughts. where necessary, I will continue to do more in depth lesson plans, but do not feel like this is always necessary.
