This terms craft club includes children from Year 3 - Year 5. As the term is shorter the children chose to do the "Starry Night" Painting and the Silk Painting.
Starry Night by Vincent Van Gough
We spent two weeks on this project, using inspiration from Van Gough's painting to do our own ideas. The children picked up on different parts of the painting, and many chose to do "fireworks" as their backdrop.
For the final few weeks we have been doing our own silk paintings, first painting the outline on the silk and allowing it to dry, and then adding the ink.
