Today I spent the afternoon learning how to use E-Profile, which is a really useful way of tracking pupil progress throughout Reception, and beyond. It is particularly useful as it produces graphs and charts to display this information visually to help both parents and teachers understand pupils progression. It is also useful to highlight areas of weakness or particular strength in a cohort and easily identifies pupils who are not making as much progress as they should be. Although today was really useful, to understand the program fully, I need to use "live" data, so am looking forward to imputing my class info into the program over half term, and doing some fancy analysing with graphs!
