Met with the KS1 teacher today to discuss how I could extend the more able children within my class. We looked at each other books, and discussed the use of questioning within carpet time. Mainly, I came away confident that I was doing the right thing.
After Christmas I will also split my more able pupils books into Literacy/Numeracy rather than a mixture, which is how they are currently.
